Throughout my life I’ve heard preachers and teachers talk of the importance of biblical topics in relation to the number of times it is mentioned in the text. I want you to take a moment and think about what the Bible says about perseverance and how often the subject is mentioned. I believe you’ll appreciate the importance placed on staying in the fight. Jeremiah had a conversation with God focused on the route that lay ahead for the people of Judah. Join me as we continue to learn how to handle pressure from the life of Jeremiah. #abbclife #underpressure #jeremiah14
We live in a pressure-packed world. Tomorrow we’ll start learning about the pressure Jeremiah faced and how we can use his life experience to help us live under pressure. #abbclife #underpressure #jeremiah1
Sunday is Valentine’s Day, so we’re talking about love. This won’t be a sermon from the Song of Solomon, and we won’t be talking about romantic love either. We are looking at a passage in Romans, and the love we’re studying is how we should publicly display our affection for others. Hope you’ll join us Sunday at 11:00! #abbclife #happyvalentinesday #romans12
As we close our series on starting over, we’re going to contrast two people who had two very different reactions to finding a fresh start. I hope you join us Sunday at 11:00. #abbclife #startingover
David made a huge mistake, and this Sunday we will take a look at his response to God as he dealt with the aftermath. His intensely personal prayer is a practical guide for starting over. Join me Sunday morning at 11:00. #abbclife #startingover #psalm51
At some point in life, the choices before can seem like an endless maze of opportunities. It’s hard to pick the right direction if you can’t narrow down those choices. Josiah was a king that found the map for his people. We’ll learn about how he started over on Sunday morning. #abbclife #startingover #2kings22
